Hey, my friends. Welcome back to Let’s Encourage One Another.
Today, I am just popping in to share a special offer with you.
You’ve heard me share a bit about spiritual direction here on the podcast. Episode 25 talked about spiritual direction in general: what it is, how to know if you need it, and other frequently asked questions about it. Then episode 33 addressed written spiritual direction in particular, which is what I specialize in.
I wanted to let you know that I have a special offer available where you can save $30 on a 3-month package of spiritual direction.
I want to offer this right now because we are getting ready to enter into the holiday season, and I know that for so many people, holidays are just hard, aren’t they? Maybe you’re grieving the loss of someone you care about. Maybe this was just a really challenging year. It’s been stressful. Maybe you had a big move and you’re still trying to find your way around. Maybe you’re burnt out.
Maybe you’re a church or ministry leader, and it’s just hard for you to actually participate in the holidays because you’re so busy planning and leading services. Maybe you’ve started caring for parents who are getting older and having a lot of health issues. Or maybe you’re having some medical challenges yourself.
Whatever the case, I would be honored to walk through this holiday season with you and help you attune yourself to the presence of God, to find out where He is working in your heart and life, to hear His invitations to you—whether that’s to rest or to worship or to trust—and to take steps to receive and accept those invitations. Because what He wants for you may not be what He wants for someone else in a similar situation, and that’s okay. It’s important that we’re taking time to stay close to Him and see where He is leading.
But sometimes, that’s hard to do on your own. Especially when you are grieving or in a difficult season. And that’s where spiritual direction can come in.
Now, as I mentioned before, I specialize in written spiritual direction, which means we will use email to write back and forth instead of meeting on a video call or in person. This works especially well for those of you who might be more introverted or who need time and space to process, to reflect, to pray about things before needing to respond.
As we write back and forth, we’ll settle into a natural rhythm that works for us, but many average emailing about once a week or so.
If you are interested, go to lovedoesthat.org/spiritualdirection to learn more and fill out the interest form. I’ll follow up with you and we’ll move forward from there.
But I do want to put a couple of ideas in your head. If you work for a church and your church offers assistance with things like counseling, I would love to work with you to provide this service to members of your congregation if it would benefit them. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, if you have a good friend who is going through a difficult season, and you talk to them and learn they would be interested in spiritual direction over the holidays, consider gifting them this 3-month package. Can you imagine what a precious gift that would be to them?
So this specific 3-month package would run during November, December, and January, which means we’ll work together during the holidays as well as entering into the new year. If you sign up by October 30, you’ll save $30. There are limited spots available, so if you’re interested at all, go ahead and go to lovedoesthat.org/spiritualdirection and fill out the interest form there.
Okay, that’s all for today. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to email me at email@example.com. Remember, my name is spelled K-A-R-I. I would be absolutely honored to walk with you through this holiday season. You don’t have to go through it alone.
Until next time…
