Dry Bones: A Resurrection Story - Love Does That | Christian Spiritual Director Kari Bartkus

Hey, my friends. Welcome back to Let’s Encourage One Another.

This is another bonus episode, where we tend to focus on spiritual practices and faith. And in today’s episode, I am sharing a message I gave a few weeks ago at my church.

As you can see from the title, this focuses on Ezekiel’s vision of the Valley of Dry Bones, and it piggybacks on what we are learning in the Soul Care Group this month. We are looking at this passage and we are exploring three different spiritual practices: the SOAP Bible study method, breath prayers, and art journaling. You can sit down and do these practices all at once (which would take an hour or an hour and a half), you can spread them throughout the month, or you can pick and choose which ones resonate the most with you. I leave it up to you to decide how to practice it, since you are the one who knows your schedule, your lifestyle, your personality the best.

Now, this recording isn’t of the best quality, but I didn’t want to try to re-record it because then we lose the live aspect of it. And while I feel I could still do a good job sitting here on my own in front of the mic sharing it with you, there’s just something about being in front of a live audience, you know? So it’s not the best, but honestly, it’s not all that bad.
